As most of you know, I grew up in Kansas City. Which just happens to be famous for Barbecue. Especially a little joint in a gas station called Oklahoma Joe's. Fortunately, they expanded and have now opened up two very large restaurants in the suburbs of KC, Olathe and Leawood. If you have never eaten at Oklahoma Joe's, you are seriously missing out. It's better than Pappy's. Better than Zarda. Better than Memphis dry rub BBQ. Basically it's the best barbecue known to mankind. In my opinion.

I went through a phase in my life as a teenager that I hated Hawaiian Haystacks. I thought it was a strange and gross meal that was basically flavorless chicken gravy on some rice. As I'm sure you've already heard, and perhaps you're tired of hearing, we've had our fair share of sickness around the house. We moved here to Idaho at the end of December, and since then, my boys have been sick three times. When I say sick I mean more than just a little sniffle. Blake is overly prone to getting the croup. My husband and I, and our boys of course, recently moved to Idaho so he could start a Chiropractic Practice. We left our home in St. Louis, Missouri, drove for over 26 hours solid (split into three days), and finally made it to Idaho.
