I will be the first to admit that I do not consider myself a baker. While I love consuming baked goods I would rather whip up a sauce from scratch or create a yummy marinade. These Brown Sugar Whole Wheat Muffins are one of my most favorite recipes. They are so easy and so fast to whip up as breakfast, a snack, or a complement to soup or salad. When I was a kid, Scomboli was quite possibly my all time favorite meal. We didn't have it very often, so when I saw the two loaves of frozen bread rising on the counter in the morning, I knew we were in for some delicious dinner. I remember one time my mom made a batch with plans to take one of the loaves to someone for dinner. I was devastated.
